00:00Positively received by the Filipino community is the Visita Be My Guest program of the Department of Tourism

00:07which is a collaboration of different cultures of Filipinos through tourism.

00:13Sir Rod Laguzad from Italy.

00:18The Filipinos themselves serve as the tourism ambassadors of the Philippines.

00:23That is the purpose of the Visita Be My Guest program of the Department of Tourism

00:27which is a promotional campaign incentive travel program

00:31where the DOT and the Filipinos of the country

00:34as well as the OFW and Uberseas Filipinos

00:36invite their friends to visit the Philippines.

00:40This is part of the program of the Department of Tourism to strengthen the tourism of the country.

00:45According to the DOT, as of November 29,

00:48from its launch in December 2022,

00:51around 10,700 people have visited and invited their friends in the country.

00:57We are looking for our fellow Filipinos to be the best tourism ambassadors

01:03because who else would know about the beauties

01:10and the beautiful sights that can be promoted to their foreign friends

01:18but also our fellow Filipinos.

01:20According to Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco,

01:22the acceptance of the Filipino community in the program is positive.

01:25To open up the eyes of the world to the many reasons to love our country

01:30and to enkindle in the hearts of our fellow Filipinos

01:36a reminder that despite all of the challenges that we face,

01:42despite the many seasons of life,

01:45despite even political issues that surround us,

01:50there is one thing that will always unite us.

01:54That is our love for the Philippines.

01:57The DOT believes that through tourism,

02:00it can bring together different cultures.

02:03Meanwhile, the DOT called for a return to the country

02:07that brought the House and Lot to the Second Grand Raffle Draw

02:10from a private company that is sponsored by the government

02:13in the form of an incentive program.

02:15Helen Grace Arceo is a Filipino-American

02:18who visits her family here in the Philippines every year

02:21after she became a partner in the promotion of tourism in our country.
