00:05During the 33rd Anti-Terrorism Council meeting at Malacanang,
00:09the President recognized the efforts of the Anti-Terrorism Council
00:13in fighting terrorist groups both within and outside the country.
00:18He emphasized that this is proof that the safety of the public is a priority for the New Philippines.
00:24Important measures are being taken by the government include
00:28and the assets of individuals linked to terrorism
00:31to prevent them from using their funds and property to spread terror until they are neutralized.
00:37Aside from dismantling terrorist groups, the government is addressing the root causes of the
00:43problem such as strengthening local leadership and encouraging youth dialogue to build a united
00:49Philippines. The Marcos administration is also enhancing its cooperation with other countries,
00:54including the United Nations and regional organizations,
00:58to strengthen the response to transnational threats.
