Moana star Auli’i Cravalho bought her mom a house with Disney earnings

Moana star Auli’i Cravalho paid her family forward for supporting her in her rise to fame.

00:09But following her breakout debut at just 16, she had earned enough money to buy a house

00:14The now 24-year-old actress told People that her mother slept on their couch while Cravalho

00:19grew up and gave her everything.

00:21And Cravalho has continued her role in recently released sequel, Moana 2, which has broken

00:26box office records, making $221 million in five days.

00:31In between Moana blockbusters, she's also gone on to star in movies like the Mean Girls

00:35remake and make her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in Cabaret.

00:39The actress is now able to share her success with her family and says her mother is happily

00:44retired.
