00:03While visiting Vail earlier this summer, I teamed up with Paragon Guides to take a llama to lunch at Camp Hale on the Rockies.

00:09While our guide Jimbo was super knowledgeable, it was Stubby, Ranger, and Doc Holiday who stole the show.

00:14Our hike was only a few miles long, but it did involve some serious elevation, plus a stream crossing that required a change of shoes.

00:21Lucky for us, Stubby and his pals led the way, carrying all of our gear, plus a very tasty and scenic picnic lunch.

00:27The last time anyone carried my hiking gear was probably over 30 years ago, so this was a game changer.
