00:00There was a minor phreatomagmatic eruption in the Taal Volcano.
00:04According to PIVOX, the eruption happened around 6 in the morning.
00:08The volcano erupted.
00:10Steam or smoke reached up to 2,800 meters above
00:14and the air was blown in the north-south direction.
00:19The smoke came from the rising magma that clung
00:22and boiled water under the crater of the volcano.
00:26Based on a man named Talisay Batangas who witnessed the eruption,
00:29it took more than 8 minutes for a thick smoke to come out of the volcano.
00:34According to PIVOX, the Taal Volcano is still under Alert Level 1,
00:38so it is still not allowed for any vehicles to pass
00:42near the top of the volcano,
00:44including those staying in Taal Lake.
