00:00Strengthening the farmer sector is the focus of the recently launched Department of Agriculture

00:06Philippine Rural Development Project Scale-Up Exhibit in partnership with the World Bank and the European Union.

00:13DA Undersecretary Roger Navarro said the exhibit aims to strengthen farmers through infrastructure, technology and training.

00:22Navarro added the DA is working to improve post-harvest facilities

00:26including cold storage and port expansions to reduce agricultural waste and lower import tariffs.

00:33The DA also partners with other agencies to improve flood control and irrigation

00:38and Navarro called on rice retailers to comply with fair pricing ahead of the Rice for All program launch in December.
