00:00The ASEAN Plus Three Macroeconomic Research Office, or AMRO, is expecting the country's

00:05economic growth to strengthen this year.

00:07Based on the information gathered by the Philippine News Agency, AMRO projected the Philippine

00:12economy to grow by 5.8 percent this year, up from 5.5 percent in 2023.

00:19Moreover, the growth is projected to further accelerate to 6.3 percent by next year.

00:25AMRO attributed the projected growth in 2024 to higher government spending, particularly

00:30in infrastructure.
