00:00Rangers ended the week on a high following their European victory over Nice.

00:07Last Thursday they ran out 1-0 winners over St Johnson at MacDermid Park in Perth on Sunday.

00:15A 1-0 scoreline for Ligue 1 Clermont's side finally starting to find their rhythm in the second half.

00:48who was back in the Rangers team in place of the injured Dujan Sterling.

00:53Sterling isn't predicted to be out for too long.

00:56It was a blocked nerve that prevented him from making the trip to Perth on Sunday.

01:02Tavenier's overall contribution was fairly solid by all accounts,

01:07but for the Ligue 1 Clermont it certainly made it clear that he is not a regular starter now going forward.

01:15A slight concern will be Rangers' injury woes have appeared to have struck again.

01:22Nana Kassanwirjo, who's on loan from Feyenoord, it looks highly likely that his season could be over

01:30after Clermont confirmed post-match that the versatile Dutch defender faces up to six months on the sidelines

01:38after undergoing a knee operation due to damaged ligaments over the weekend.

01:44So that's another blow for Clermont who certainly hasn't had the troubles to seek.

01:49He's currently operating, of course, without the likes of Rabbie Matondo, Oscar Cortes and Tom Lawrence,

01:56but the pleasing thing for him will be three points.

02:00Rangers still remain 11 points behind Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership,

02:05but this was a welcome three points for Rangers against St. Johnson.
