00:00To induct a member of the Centenary Clubs, what we had in history would not be possible.

00:12Madam Mayor, Mr Consul, it wouldn't be possible without you, the Clubs.

00:21You are the instigators, the inspiration, the introduction.

00:28You are everything that belongs to sport and it's right and proper, again, that we recognise your worth to this city.

00:41Lindenley Tennis Club, they have a history in the most magnificent form in a book.

00:52And I have asked them, and I hope they will do what I said, in making sure that a copy of this is in the city archives.

01:04That's where it belongs.

01:07Our placing, if you will allow me, I look upon Lindenley in three separate phases.
