00:25Emma worries about the financial burdens from her coconut farm in the town of Bacalalon,
00:29but she can now breathe a sigh of relief as she is among the over 4,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries
00:34in Quezon province who were granted e-titles and certificates of condemnation. She shared
00:40her farm was severely affected by past typhoons and assistance is a huge relief.
00:45This marks the first distribution of certificates of condemnation and release of Borges or Cockrum in the Calabarzon region.
01:05A total of 11,497 certificates were distributed to agrarian reform beneficiaries aiming to improve
01:12agricultural productivity. More than 441 million pesos worth of debt was condoned as part of this
01:19initiative to reduce the financial burdens of the farmers. Additionally, 15 e-titles under the
01:26project were distributed.
01:46The distribution of Cockrum fulfills the promise of President Marcos Jr.
01:50for a comprehensive agrarian reform program. It is also aligned with the Republic Act 11953
01:56or the new Emancipation Act which is expected to bring significant financial relief,
