John and Jean Train from Wombourne are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary.

00:15I bet I bet we're always busy yeah yeah so where did you get married where did

00:22you tie the knot St. Thomas's Church at Wensfield oh yeah yeah oh lovely and

00:29what was the weather like on the day like today yeah but misty cold was it

00:38absolutely terrible but it was still a lovely day after anyway so how did you

00:47meet at Low Street working men's club there I was a resident drummer there

00:53that's right yeah you should be the drummer didn't you yeah and what was the

00:56name of the band you were in at the time it was just a duo oh yeah yeah

01:02lovely yeah the sapphire you were in the sapphires were you oh oh yes yeah yeah

01:08the rock group yeah 1963 yeah yeah and you were you were a guest a guest there

01:16were you gee is that is that how you met no we met at the club yeah met at the

01:20club yeah yeah just member of the club with me mom and dad right wonderful

01:25yeah yeah so was that the first time you met him when you got together or did

01:31you kind of see each other over a period of time or was it love at first sight

01:36that was the first time we met yeah she took a fancy to me there yeah thought I'd

01:41got some money yeah yeah so 60 years what's have you done it what's the

01:48secret what's the secret of a happy marriage well I think it's love and

01:55respect for one another yeah and those two little words as well yes dear yeah

02:02and then that's made us last all this long doesn't it yes yeah excellent no

02:12that's that's really good so so what what would you say to other people who

02:17were married in there you know the one of the one or less the 60 years what

02:21would you say to them I don't know I don't know how to describe that to

02:31people that we know and that things like that just be kind and do do more things

02:38together then yeah yeah men do tend to do things on their own too much

02:43but the more you I mean the all the time John was playing I used to go down if

02:48he wasn't playing five nights a week at least go down twice a week

02:51not to keep our eye on him because he didn't get away with anything when you

02:55go to the club don't get away with anything no that's it so yes we always

03:00work together yes excellent have you how you celebrating have you got a party at

03:05all it's just a family party here let me going away on Monday
