Ahead of the release of the video of Tyre Nichols’ arrest, his mother, RowVaughn Wells said, “Any of you who have children, please don’t let them see it.”

00:08Because I wasn't there for my son.

00:11I had this really bad pain in my stomach earlier, not knowing what had happened.

00:18But once I found out what happened, that was my son's pain that I was feeling.

00:25And I didn't even know.

00:28But for me to find out that my son was calling my name, and I was only feet away,

00:35and did not even hear him.

00:39You have no clue how I feel right now.

00:44I've never seen the video.

00:49But what I've heard is very horrific.
