00:07by forming a line in front of the restaurant.
00:09There were armed participants on both sides.
00:13The owner of the restaurant posted before the brunch
00:15saying that his son would be the drag performer
00:17and that there would be no foul language,
00:19no sexual content, and no erratic behavior.
00:22They also said that performers would be fully clothed
00:24and the music would not contain explicit lyrics.
00:27Police were stationed in the area as a precaution,
00:29but there were no arrest or police reports filed,
00:32the Dallas Morning News reported.
00:33Drag shows have been the center of controversy
00:35throughout Texas since state rep Brian Slayton
00:38tweeted that he plans to introduce a bill
00:40to ban minors from these spaces.
