00:04for pre-order for the price of $300,000. California's Olive Aeronautics has received a

00:10special airworthiness certification from the Federal Aviation Administration to test its

00:14Model A flying car on both the road and in the air. Last year, the startup automaker opened

00:20pre-sales for what it says is quote, the only drivable flying car with vertical takeoff and

00:24landing capabilities. The Olive Model A flying car is designed to fit within existing urban

00:29infrastructure, meaning it can be driven on public roads and fit into a standard garage.

00:34The two-person vehicle is fully electric with a driving range of 200 miles and a flight range of

00:39110 miles. Buyers can put a $150 deposit to join the general queue or $1,500 to receive priority

00:46access. According to Olive, approximately 440 people put down deposits in 2022. Olive's CEO

00:53says the company plans to begin deliveries in late 2025.
