Indiana Father Arrested After Video Shows Toddler With Gun

A father was arrested for neglect of a dependent after neighbors called 9-1-1 on an unattended 4-year-old with a weapon.

00:00A four-year-old was seen waving around a loaded gun in this apartment complex hallway.

00:04His father has since been arrested.

00:07Neighbors called 911, saying there was a child alone in the hallway with a firearm.

00:11The father initially denied owning a gun when questioned by police, but after a search,

00:15police found the weapon under a television in the living room.

00:18He also admitted to not knowing the child was outside of the apartment.

00:22It's unclear who the gun belonged to as Indiana does not require residents to register firearms.

00:27The state also has no state laws requiring gun owners to lock their firearms.

00:31The father, 45-year-old Shane Osborne, was arrested for neglect of a dependent and the
