When this woman saw a kitten drowning in the ocean, she jumped in and swam as fast as she could. We talked to Coco and Patrick about how they came back from vacation with a new family member ❤️

00:18Baby, is he okay?

00:20He's taking the taxi.

00:22And we're going home.

00:42She was not responding.

00:44So my main thought at that point was

00:46Oh my gosh!

00:48She might not survive.

00:50All of a sudden the cat started crying.

00:52It was like

00:54Okay, there's hope.

00:56So we had already kind of seen

00:58the vet organization around the last few days

01:00because of course we're obsessed with animals.

01:04And we went and they gave us medication.

01:06They treated her.

01:22Our main worry was that she would cry

01:24the whole flight or pee.

01:26So I had her little carry-on bag.

01:28I put a pee-pee pad. I had everything ready.

01:30I had wipes. I had more pee-pee pads just in case.

01:32And the entire flight

01:34she practically slept.

01:42I had already ordered

01:44stuff on Amazon and everything

01:46for her to kind of be comfortable.

01:48But we were nervous. I mean our dogs

01:50had never been around cats.

01:52So it was kind of like

01:54one of those things where you make the decision

01:56and you say well we'll figure it out as we go.

01:58What we did is that the first week

02:00our dogs have beds and blankets

02:02everywhere on the house.

02:04So we kind of put her in our second

02:06bathroom with her bed, her litter box,

02:08her food and the dog's blankets.

02:10So they had each other smell for a while.

02:14But after a week we showed them

02:16to each other through a window.

02:22Once they were all in the house

02:24together then it was easy.

02:32My favorite

02:34activity that has always been my

02:36favorite thing to do in the whole world

02:38is go for walks with my dogs.

02:40So basically we just continue that

02:42routine but we take Spetsy.

02:44We will let

02:46her explore when there's no one around

02:48and she's on a leash because she gets so

02:50happy doing that.

02:54I think we mutually impacted each other

02:56which I think is the nicest thing of it all.
