00:13In a rare opportunity, two provinces joined the joint session.
00:18Buhol Governor Aris Omentado and Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia.
00:23They were joined by busy Governors and Provincial Board members.
00:28This is the first joint session of the two provincial governments
00:32as the remaining provinces in Region 7.
00:36The first resolution passed in the historic joint session
00:40is the signing of the Sisterhood Agreement.
00:42The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen the cooperation in tourism,
00:47commerce, and economy of the two provinces.
00:50We must cooperate in everything we do.
00:54We must ensure that the entire Central Visayas region
00:59has what it takes to become a beacon of inspiration for other regions.
01:06Showcasing that partnership is the way forward across all segments of government.
01:14According to Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia,
01:16the 7 million population of neighboring Cebu and Buhol will benefit greatly.
01:23We would send out the notice to the entire Visayas.
01:28Look at Region 7, Buhol, and Cebu.
01:35Watch out, we will be the economic powerhouse of the entire Visayas.
01:45How do we do it?
01:48We will help you.

01:55Watch out for the dangers that lie ahead.
01:59The government is also helping to build bridges
02:02that will connect the islands of Buhol and Cebu.
