Millions of commuters to be stuck during 48 hour transport strike

Sydney’s rail, tram, and bus networks will come to a standstill for 48 hours beginning Friday November 22, 2024, as the union continues its pay dispute with the NSW government.

00:13We'd like to correct that the days are actually Friday morning through to the early hours

00:19of Sunday morning.

00:20There is absolutely no reason why train services won't be running on Thursday, aside from something

00:26happening in the background with the government.

00:28So we hope that the government comes through and runs 24-hour services like the people

00:33of Sydney so thoroughly deserve, but today it doesn't seem like that will be the case.

00:38So it may be some disruption on Friday and Saturday, but there shouldn't be any disruption

00:43to the commuters of Sydney on Thursday or Sunday.
