Carinda village buildings flattened by vicious tornado-like thunderstorm

Severe storms wreaked havoc in Carinda, tearing roofs off buildings and causing significant damage.

00:11piece of timber here with roof lining and that and that's actually where the roof landed. So it's gone all the way over there.

00:31Just debris everywhere. We don't even really know what damage has been done to the house,

00:35but I know I've lost my whole fence and

00:38I've got to go and find a dog because he was in his dog cage and we can't find the dog cage.

00:43That piece of colourbond has just come through that window. It's part of my side fence, and I was just sitting there.

00:52Telephone poles have gone.

00:54We've lost the park. Our neighbour across there has lost their roof.
