00:00I mean, that's a hell of a win, and they own the Ravens now, let's just call it like it

00:08They own the Ravens at this point.

00:09I know you probably don't like hearing that, but eight out of nine, eight out of nine,

00:14that's not two out of three, that's not four out of five, that's not a, eight out of nine

00:21is a significant chunk of NFL games that you can take a little bit of something away from.

00:28But I'll ask it to you this way, we saw the Bills beat the Chiefs yesterday, we saw the

00:33Steelers beat the Ravens, we saw the Chargers beat the Bengals last night, but, and I don't

00:39think people are quite ready to put the Chargers with those four teams, maybe when they beat

00:44the Ravens, if they beat the Ravens next Monday night, people will start to think a little

00:49differently.

00:50But what I noticed when me and Cam looked at the AFC board earlier was, people still,

00:55the book still doesn't have the Steelers on the same level as the Chiefs, the Bills

01:01and the Ravens.

01:02They really don't, Dave.

01:04Season expectations, and life is about managing expectations.

01:09So expectations going into the season, reality was eight and a half season wins.

01:15You know, Justin Fields and Russell Wilson are both the quarterbacks.

01:18Who's the quarterback?

01:19If you have two, you don't have one.

01:21You have none, but you have a good defense.

01:24They beat the Ravens without scoring a touchdown.

01:29Six field goals.

01:30None of it makes any sense.

01:32And right now, bettors agree.

01:35They're not betting the Steelers to win the Super Bowl, they're not even betting the Steelers

01:38to win the AFC.

01:41It makes sense, until it doesn't.

01:44And then, when we're talking in January about the Bills and the Steelers for the people,

01:52that's the people's AFC championship, right?

01:55That's what I swear a lot of people would love to see.

02:00The Chiefs have had a great run, and they were due to lose.

02:04It was going to happen.

02:05They weren't going undefeated.

02:07I was circling Christmas Day when they go to Pittsburgh and play them there.

02:12Hopefully we'll be able to watch it after the Netflix debacle over the weekend with

02:17the fight.

02:18We'll get to that in a second.

02:21Yeah, I was just as excited about the Steelers winning at plus three as I was about your

02:30Buffalo Bills.

02:31I was going to come on in Buffalo, but I felt we needed a little Pittsburgh representation

02:37with Scottie out.

02:38I was going to come on in full Bills regalia.

02:42I have it right over here, and I may even change, because we're going to do two segments,

02:46because it's just not enough to do one.

02:57I think, and I'll say this in a way that doesn't make me sound like a ... I don't think I ever

03:02try to do this.

03:03I don't think I ever completely sound like a full Buffalo Bills homer when I talk about

03:07them here, either on this show or anywhere else.

03:10I think, Dave, because of the fact that the team is so different from the last four years,

03:17I think that gives them a bump.

03:19They're now beating the Chiefs in the regular season again.

03:23This is not the Diggs, Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer group that they have been with.

03:29I thought that this would be a transition year for them, not a rebuild.

03:34More of like they're mixing in new guys, younger players, and they're nine and two again.

03:41Off of all that, they're going to run away and hide in the AFC East.

03:46If they go 14 and three, and they got more marquee games between now and the end.

03:53They have the Niners on a Sunday night game.

03:55They are going to Detroit.

03:57How about this?

03:58You might have a game in Detroit in December between the Bills and the Lions, and they

04:02have a combined three losses or four losses between the two of them when you get that

04:08game in mid-December.

04:10Because they have other marquee games that he can win, I think he ... Look, Lamar's great.

04:16You know that, but these voters sometimes, in all the MVP sports, sometimes have fatigue

04:23about giving it to the same guy every year unless it's no doubt about it, you can't give

04:29it to anyone else.

04:30If Allen's case is close enough, I think he's got a good shot to get it.

04:35I think you're right.

04:36You saw it in the basketball, right?

04:38It was Joker, Joker, Joker until it wasn't, and then they had to give it to Embiid because

04:44it was somebody different and his stats were justifiable in the argument.

04:50I don't know.

04:51The guy keeps winning games.

04:52You talked about the schedule.

04:54The schedule's not easy the rest of the way.

04:57The division is because the Jets are ... I mean, they're the content, the gift that keeps

05:03on giving every single week.

05:06It's fun to watch, especially fun to bet against.

05:10The Patriots are in a complete rebuild and have a young quarterback who looks like he

05:15may be the guy, but they're not going to win games, and listen, the Dolphins already lost

05:22a lot of games.

05:23I don't think ... The Steelers are going to also play a lot of high-leverage football

05:28the rest of the way.

05:30The AFC playoff picture is pretty much decided as far as the participants, not actually the

05:37order.

05:39If everybody got to go through Buffalo or Pittsburgh, it could happen.

05:47It really could happen.

05:50But I mean, you talked about the NFC.

05:51You talked about going to Detroit.

05:53They're going to build that as a Super Bowl preview.
