00:06Glasgow's festive season has officially started as the Christmas lights were switched on at
00:10George Square on Sunday the 17th of November in what was the coldest night of the year so far.
00:15Almost 10,000 tickets were distributed by a randomized ballot and the lucky attendees

00:25Hosted by the witty Bowie at Breakfast presenters George Bowie and Cassie Gillespie,

00:36the cast of this year's Pavilion Panto Beauty and the Beastie, a song from Santa Claus and a set by

00:48by Glaswegians of all ages. A 360 degrees laser projection show will now take place around George
00:54Square daily and a 30-minute light show will now run on repeat between half three and 10 pm every
