00:15Mercy, on Saturday, November 16, posted a video on TikTok revealing she had undergone
00:20a lung operation.
00:22ABS-CBN reports she had stage 4 breast cancer and lung cancer.
00:26In the video, she explains how she had difficulties breathing after the operation, noting the
00:31doctors found out she had water and inflammation in the lungs.
00:35The band celebrates her life in a post saying, quote,
00:38"'Mercy's voice wasn't just part of Aegis.
00:40It was a voice that brought comfort, joy, and strength to so many.
00:44Her passion, warmth, and unforgettable presence on stage will forever be cherished in our
00:49hearts."
00:50Aegis' top hits include Luha, Basang Basa Sa Ulan, Halik, and Sinta.
