00:13Leadership without faith is a ship without a compass.
00:17It will sail, but it will drift.
00:21True leadership, the kind that transforms people's lives for the better,
00:26is guided by wisdom and is rooted in faith and in God.
00:32President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. encouraged leaders in the country to lead with faith.
00:41That was the call of President Ejecutibo in the 49th Philippine National Prayer Breakfast,
00:48a gathering of government officials and various business and religious sectors
00:55to ask for God's guidance to help leaders in the country to lead with strength, integrity, and love for their country.
01:05President Marcos said that this is a time for the country to face challenges
01:12after experiencing the next six storms.
01:16Considering the challenges that our fellow Filipinos have been facing since October 21,
01:22when Severe Tropical Storm Christine entered our area,
01:27and until today as Typhoon Pepito crosses our archipelago,
01:32our collective faith and prayer to the Almighty is the most powerful tool that we have
01:38to weather these storms and the destruction that they bring.
01:42President Marcos emphasized the importance of unity, regardless of our beliefs and culture.
01:50The PNPB encouraged President Marcos, First Lady Liz Araneta Marcos, and other leaders of the country to pray.
02:02When I pray, I only do two things in my prayers.
02:06I thank God for the blessings that we have already received,
02:10and I pray that He continues to bless me with wisdom,
02:16with compassion, and with the love of our country that will be forever undying.
02:23Aside from Malacanang, the PNPB prayed in more than 100 places around the world.
