00:05During the budget deliberations of the Department of National Defense or DND,

00:09some senators emphasized the need to ensure military branches are properly funded.

00:15Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino also highlighted the leasing of equipment,

00:20noting that other countries similarly rent defense equipment.

00:24Meanwhile, in the Department of Transportation or DOTR's budget deliberations,

00:29Senator Joel Villanueva criticized the issue of overloading, particularly with trucks.
