00:00Senators scrutinized the 2025 budget proposals of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, or PDEA,

00:07and the Dangerous Drugs Board, or DDB, earlier today. For its part, Senator Rafi Tulfo wants

00:13authorities to be stricter and not allow any illegal contraband to slip into the country.

00:20Thus, the Director General explained what the PDEA does to prevent such scenarios from happening.

00:26Agency, you let the customs decide.

00:41So, do not let the customs people decide.

00:55Then,

01:25if we need to use force to stop the problem of drugs that our peers are spreading,

01:33then coordinate with the Department of Finance Secretary or Secretary-Recto.
