00:00The Metro Manila Council approved the new guidelines on the towing and impounding of vehicles.
00:05This will improve the process of towing of vehicles that are illegal, parked, or vehicles that hit the road.
00:12In the new guidelines, there will be five towing service companies to service five sectors of Metro Manila,
00:20North, South, East, West, and Central.
00:24The towing service companies will choose through bidding.
00:28And instead of going directly to the impounding area,
00:30there will be an option for the owners of real vehicles,
00:34where they will bring their vehicles.
00:36It can be brought directly to their homes, gas stations, or auto repair shops.
00:41IKMMDA Chairman Romando Artes will implement the new guidelines next year.
