Should we pay more for University?

In Wales, we get reduced fees for universities, unlike in England where fees are set to rise once again. We ask the people of Cardiff whether they think the current system is fair for students and universities.

00:05funding that, all the extra money, and they should have more of a budget.

00:11It's quite a tricky one isn't it, because I understand that the university's like

00:15they need the money to run the programs, however I'm aware that it used to be free

00:20a couple of years ago. There needs to be some sort of common ground doesn't there?

00:26Basically you have to pay enough to enter the courses and that, and it's just ridiculous

00:33for the cost of living and everything. And then the loan, if you can't afford it to

00:39pay it straight away, it's basically there for most of your life then, paying a bathroom.

00:44It's quite a difficult situation. I think it would be better across the board rather

00:47than lumping a young person in £50,000 of debt over four years, which got the chance

00:52of them paying it realistically with more wages, throughout England, Europe or anywhere

00:56else. Very low chance.
