00:17Not even a month after the taste of the typhoon Christine,

00:21Philippine Coast Guard District Bicol is again preparing

00:26for the possible hit of the typhoon Pipito,

00:29as well as the effect of the typhoon Ophel on the land of the Bicol region.

00:34All users of PCG Bicol are now ready to provide assistance

00:39to those affected by the typhoon.

00:41According to Ensign Eliza Novi Bermal,

00:44the spokesperson of the Coast Guard District Bicol,

00:46all substations in the entire region are now under heightened alert.

00:51This means that all leave and day-offs of passengers

00:56to learn how to evacuate to those affected by the typhoon.

01:01As part of the preparation for the possible effects of the typhoon Pipito and the typhoon Ophel,

01:07the Coast Guard District Bicol is ready.

01:11Yesterday, our personnel assured that our deployable response group is ready

01:18and the completeness of the gears that we will bring to respond to the typhoon is also complete.

01:25PCG Bicol also assured all the necessary equipment

01:30that will be used by the 82 deployable response groups

01:33to help the local governments in the possible implementation of the evacuation and rescue operation.

01:41From the Coast Guard District Bicol,

01:43we have more than 28 different types of floating assets and water assets.

01:50These include rubber boats, high-speed response boats, aluminum boats, and our rigid-hull inflatable boats.

02:00All of the PCG Bicol personnel are now alert

02:04and close to the coast to respond to any incident and threat of two typhoons.
