00:00U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday picked three more Republican colleagues to

00:06fill the key posts in his administration.

00:09He nominated Sen. Marco Rubio to be the Secretary of State.

00:13Trump said Rubio will be a strong advocate for the nation, a true friend to their allies,

00:18and a fearless warrior who will never back down to their adversaries.

00:23Trump also named firebrand Rep. Matt Gaetz for the attorney general post, saying that

00:28Gaetz will end weaponized government, protect the U.S. borders, and dismantle criminal organizations.

00:35Gaetz has a history of criticizing the Justice Department.

00:38The attorney general is said to be key to Trump's plans to carry out mass deportations,

00:43pardon the rioters of the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6 in 2021, and seek retribution against

00:50those who prosecuted Trump over the past four years.

00:59Party.

01:01Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic representative and presidential nominee in the 2020 election,

01:07has been named as the Director of National Intelligence.

01:11Gabbard has little direct experience with intelligence work, but she is a lieutenant

01:16colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves with deployment experiences in Iraq and Kuwait.

01:22The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Republican-majority Senate.
