Eamonn Holmes guns for Match Of The Day job in GB News hosting rant

The former This Morning presenter, 64, confessed on GB News on Wednesday that he wants to replace Gary Lineker as BBC 's Match Of The Day presenter.

00:08You see, but again, they also do this ridiculous thing in the BBC.

00:11It's always been the case, try and get a younger audience.

00:18And younger people don't watch television.

00:20So why are they wasting their time?

00:22They do much of the day, though, don't they?

00:24They watch it on Sunday morning in bed with a hangover or whatever.

00:33Is it going to be a situation where, if it's a different host, they're not going to bother?

00:41But it's the end of the season, he'll leave, but he'll stay at the BBC.
