00:00The project was born from the National Observatory Bullying and Youth Discomfort, which has been operating in Italy for more than 10 years,
00:12bringing the witnesses of athletes, in particular champions of sport, to the boys and, in particular, through schools.
00:22Recently, through a collaboration agreement with Cittadella dello Sport and Dertona Basket,
00:31we thought of carrying out the project of the Champions Academy.
00:36This academy has the most important activity and that of peer-to-peer education,
00:45that is, to bring the message of young athletes, of champions of sport, through videos within schools
00:56and then to train young people so that they themselves are the witnesses of the activities that can be carried out against bullying and cyberbullying.
01:09In this sense, peer-to-peer allows for greater attention to the issues that young people in particular face today,
01:21with a comparison also with families, schools and therefore teachers.
01:26The peer-to-peer project allows for a greater dissemination of these principles, which are the principle of respect, the principle of rules,
01:39which are very, very important because in civil life we must absolutely remark these concepts.
