00:32What led you down this path?

00:35For all something and purposes, Kevin, this season's over.

00:44They have eight games left.

00:45They will play the eight games.

00:46They have nine people on IR right now.

00:50And their starting quarterback who, listen, you've talked about it a lot.

00:55Not all the resources are gone now, but the resources for the future definitely are in

01:01limbo.

01:02Yeah.

01:03This year, though, the you're you're going, OK, this guy is going to be relied upon to

01:08carry him and see the lamb.

01:10That dude's not there.

01:11And he wasn't playing good before the injury either.

01:14The team wasn't playing good.

01:16And so that a lot of people could probably put it on that.

01:19That's the back.

01:20That was the moment where it finally came to the right.

01:22That's it.

01:23There's lots of pinpoint areas on this team that I think you can look at and say, that's

01:28the moment for me, Kevin.

01:30It might be is a little before the season, but it's right around the time of the end

01:34of training camp.

01:35And that was when you decided to go with two rookies on your offensive line that probably

01:41aren't ready.

01:42And there's a possibility one of the left tackle might move to right tackle next year.

01:46Sure.

01:47And the possibility that maybe that that your center isn't the center for the future.

01:51But he's he's done a pretty good job.

01:52So when you made that decision, and Zach Martin fell off, you didn't know steel wasn't

01:58gonna be you really were like, Tyler Smith's there, baby.

02:02That's the that was the moment that I think broke this season because that is the linchpin

02:07for your offense playing well, that led to Dak Prescott's injury.

02:11Dak Prescott doesn't have to run around if that offensive line is good enough to produce

02:16with their running backs, and they're in their offense in general, he doesn't have to run

02:21around.

02:22He doesn't have to run around because of it.

02:23And the points on the board just weren't there.
