00:00A rumour of legit heat between WWE champions calls for an AEW firing, my review of Monday
00:07Night Raw and more.
00:10I'm Oli Davis, and this is the WrestleStash News.
00:23Jade Cargill has been teaming with Bianca Belair since her SmackDown debut back in March,
00:27meaning we've had 8 months of this spot.
00:35Even though they've had a WrestleMania win together, won the Women's Tag Titles, lost
00:38the Women's Tag Titles and won the Women's Tag Titles back again, their whole relationship
00:42has been based around the question, but when are you going to break up?
00:47Despite the occasional spot where they nearly hit each other, or Liv Morgan saying Bianca's
00:51going to stab Cargill in the back, the answer, as usual with Paul of X booking, is most likely
00:56ages away, just in time for a WrestleMania match.
00:59Will someone tell that to the backstage dirt sheets?
01:02As a rumour has come out that the two have legitimate heat with each other behind the
01:06scenes.
01:07This is a story coming from one Jonathan Coachman.
01:11His last scoop was Becky Lynch asking for $2 million a year from WWE, which is why she's
01:16not returned yet.
01:17But that was pretty swiftly debunked by Fightful Select, who reported WWE would jump at the
01:21chance to sign Becky for $2 million, as she's likely set to make much more than that.
01:27So do take this with a mug of salt right to the eyeball.
01:32Speaking on his Coach and Bro show, Coachman said,
01:34I've also heard that Cargill and Bianca Belair do not get along at all.
01:39It's from reliable sources.
01:41They don't get along.
01:42Bianca's already been in the main event.
01:44So you're asking her to give somebody the rub?
01:46Of course she's going to be pissed off.
01:48She makes her own gear, and Jade doesn't make her own gear.
01:52Do you see how that could lead to something?
01:54No.
01:55I don't see how not making your own gear could lead to something.
01:58But never mind that rumoured shoot heat.
02:01What about the kayfabe heat?
02:04It was revealed on Monday's episode of Raw that Survivor Series Bloodline WarGames match
02:08wouldn't be a four on four like we all thought.
02:11It'll be five on five, as both factions try to recruit a fifth member.
02:16We saw Jimmy Uso approach Brom Breaker backstage, and Seth Rollins turn down both Sami Zayn
02:21and Solo Sakoa.
02:22But through WrestleTalk's expert journalism, we have revealed who New Blood's fifth member
02:27for the match will be.
02:29Because next week's Raw was taped in advance.
02:31And honestly, in a million years, I would never have guessed that this going fo-

02:38entering the Spoiler Room Brawl in 3…
02:412…
02:421…
02:43As Eskyps is reporting that Bronson Reed aligned with Solo's New Blood faction when they
02:47helped him beat Rollins on the show.
02:49I would imagine that Seth will now join the original Bloodline to get revenge, which isn't
02:53just a cool character beat, having him reunite with Roman Reigns, it's also a fantastic
02:58way to elevate Reed up the card.
03:01But never mind that kayfabe heat.
03:03What about that work shoot heat storyline that you're using to maybe actually vent
03:07shoot frustrations with your com- In an interview with New York Post Sports,
03:19AEW World Champion Jon Moxley described his Death Riders faction as forcing a hard reset
03:25and complete restart of the promotion.
03:28The idea is AEW has lost its way, so Moxley had to turn heel to save it.
03:33And he was pretty honest about the genuine backstage incidents that led to this kayfabe
03:38but also kind of shoot solution.
03:40He said there was a mountain of s*** in AEW before he returned to TV, including one behind
03:45the scenes interaction where he felt the company's own production staff were burying the wrestlers.
03:51Earlier this year, I heard somebody, a backstage type person, talking about interviews, the
03:56pre-tapes or something.
03:57It was a situation where talents were not put in a position to succeed due to, you know,
04:02lack of preparation and framework and direction and things like that.
04:06This individual said, well, it's the bottom of the card.
04:09It doesn't matter.
04:10Can you imagine saying that?
04:12Like you're f***ing fired, you're f***ing fired.
04:16It's Tuesday.
04:17You know what that means, Pledgehammers.
04:19The brand new episode of Monday Night War is up to watch on Patreon.
04:22The last ever chance for Luke Owen to beat Pete Cornell is nearing its end.
04:27You can watch the whole series so far exclusively at Patreon.com forward slash WrestleTalk.
04:32Here's a clip.
04:53Now it's time for my review of Monday Night Raw, not War, Raw in about 5 minutes.
04:58Gunther opened the episode in Grand Rapids, Canada, probably about to do his cheeky Austrian
05:02stand-up routine on Damian Priest, when the World Heavyweight Title No. 1 contender interrupted
05:07to point out Gunther is only champion because Finn Balor cost Priest their match.
05:12Priest was really good here, talking about how everyone used to be scared of Gunther.
05:16But as soon as he won the belt, those vibes went away, no cap.
05:20And now he's lost the Cody at Crown Jewel, you can see the doubt behind Gunther's eyes.
05:24Ludvig Kaiser came down to defend his silent ring general, but Gunther covered his mic
05:28in some more tension between the two.
05:30Priest beat up Kaiser, and Gunther backed away with trepidation on his face.
05:35This led to a singles match between Priest and Kaiser later on, where Ludvig got a fair
05:39bit of offence in, but Damian eventually beat him super easily, barely an inconvenience,
05:43with the South of Heaven.
05:44I get it.
05:45After being stuck in the Judgment Day midcard vortex for a couple of months, Priest needs
05:50And WWE have sacrificed Gunther's badass invincibility to make their match build more
05:55compelling.
05:56It's just a shame, because I want Gunther to just beat everyone all the time.
06:00Cathy Kelly was interviewing Io Sky and Kairi Sane backstage, but never mind that, Dakota
06:05Kai made her surprise return to cut their promos in English for them.
06:08Well, there's all Carlito's material gone.
06:11They took on Pure Fusion Collective in a six woman tag, which made sense as they were the
06:15ones who originally put Kai on the shelf, even if they did come out to an anti-pop.
06:20Shayna Baszler briefly recaptured her beast mode of old, locking in submission after submission,
06:24but Io ultimately hit a moonsault on her to win, building momentum for her Liv Morgan
06:28title shot.
06:29The New Day soap opera continued, as Kofi Kingston had a match with Pete Dunne as a
06:33favour to R-Truth for not saving him last week, which Xavier Woods didn't want.
06:37Woods would clothesline Dunne behind the referee's back to help him win, but Kofi just ended up
06:41arguing with Xavier, leading to Dunne hitting the bitter end to win.
06:46New Day were outwardly arguing on the ramp afterwards.
06:49Finn Balor was a sulky demon backstage with the Judgment Day, blaming Dominic Mysterio
06:53for Priest getting another shot at the World Heavyweight title, prompting Dom to say he
06:56got closer than Finn has to a top championship for ages.
07:00Balor sarcastically said they're all in this together, and goaded Dom and Carlito
07:03into facing the tag team No. 1 contenders the War Raiders to a match next week.
07:08WWE's main event soap opera, though, is the brilliant Bloodline Saga.
07:12Sami J and Jimmy were backstage where they first revealed they wanted to find a fifth
07:16man.
07:17And while that's all just thinking it was a 4-on-4 match from Friday's SmackDown,
07:20there's still tension between Jimmy and Sami, so they both went off to recruit their
07:24own ideas.
07:25Bronson Reed then called Seth Rollins down to the ring, and guess what happened?
07:28It was a huge pull apart brawl.
07:30It's repetitive.
07:31It wasn't as good as last week's.
07:33There's the law of diminishing returns.
07:35But I don't care.
07:36I just love watching Bronson destroy all security.
07:39Seth demanded another match against Reed from Adam Pearce backstage, which we're getting
07:43next week.
07:44And that's when Sami walked in to ask Rollins to be the original Bloodline's fifth member.
07:49Seth said he's out of his mind, he'll never team with Roman ever again.
07:53Which is absolutely fair, but also a Kingslayer tease.
07:57Off the back of their speed draw, Braun Breaker and Sheamus set up an Intercontinental title
08:00match for next week's Raw, which had Jimmy walk in afterwards, presumably to ask Braun
08:05to be the original Bloodline's fifth man.
08:07Which is a good idea because of that tension Braun had with Jacob Fatu the other week.
08:11But also a terrible idea.
08:13Because Braun is the guy who just beat your twin brother for his only ever singles championship.
08:17The Final Testament then got in The Miz's face backstage, who I guess has been released
08:21from captivity now.
08:22Angry that he didn't get them any information on The Wyatt Six, they dragged him down to
08:26the ring, somehow busting open his head hard way, as Wyatt bait.
08:29The lights went out, and The Wyatt Six appeared on the ring apron for a staredown with the
08:34Final Testament.
08:35It felt like The Miz was a trap to lure in Karrion Kross and co.
08:39But this was actually a really effective swerve.
08:41Although The Wyatt Six always seem to be several spooky steps ahead, it was actually
08:45Miz and Kross who outsmarted them here.
08:48The Miz took out Rowan with a chair from behind, and the Final Testament beat them all down.
08:53This got some really good crowd heat, because people love the Wyatts.
08:56And the flicker of fear on Karrion's face as Uncle Howdy kept laughing even though he
09:00was beaten up was very well done.
09:03Backstage, when Seth was leaving the building, he ran into an offer from Solo and Jacob in
09:07the car park to join their WarGames team.
09:10Seth said he won't team with Roman Reigns, but he'll never team with a wannabe Roman
09:15Reigns.
09:16Expect that line to have future consequences for Seth.
09:19With only 10 minutes left of the show, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez got a women's
09:22tag title shot against Cargill and Belair, who hate each other.
09:25This was the standard booking where Liv looks really weak and Raquel has to make all the
09:29saves.
09:30But oh, I'm sorry, did you expect the women's division to focus on some actual stories once
09:34the Bram Warfare of Crown Jewel was done?
09:36You idiot.
09:37Because now we've got a month of Team WarGames for Survivor Series stories.
09:42Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton took out Cargill and Belair behind the referee's back, they
09:46had a thing on SmackDown, Naomi took them out, and Cargill and Belair overcame the interference
09:51to win super easily, barely an inconvenience.
09:53Io Sky then ran down to help the babyfaces stand tall in the post-match brawl.
09:58So while Seth can't let go of stuff that happened years ago when it comes to picking
10:02WarGames teams, Sky, who was feuding with Cargill and Belair over the tag belts two
10:06weeks ago, is now saving them.
10:08And Nia and Tiffany are working with Raquel and Liv, despite feuding to Crown Jewel just
10:13eight days ago.
10:14It is a women's division that is admirably getting TV time, but it has nowhere near the
10:19character and storyline depth as the rest of the show.
10:22This week's Raw is 68%.
