00:00Preparations by the government and the government's agencies

00:04for the distribution of emergency aid to areas affected by the Nika earthquake are in full swing.

00:13Disaster response field offices of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD,

00:20will continue their operations for the families and individuals affected by the Marse earthquake

00:24while at the same time preparing their supplies for the Nika earthquake.

00:29Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao of the Disaster Response Management Group,

00:33who is the spokesperson of the DSWD,

00:36is encouraging the distribution of emergency aid as soon as possible,

00:39particularly to the families affected in the Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, and Cordillera Administrative Region.

00:46As part of the preparation of the DSWD Field Office 3 Central Luzon

00:51for the expected arrival of the Nika earthquake,

00:53the 78th Infantry Battalion and Headquarters Service Company of the 7th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army

01:01actively helped in the production of family food packs at the DSWD Hub in Pampanga.

01:06The assistance of the DSWD and the Philippine Army

01:09is likely to drive away the fast production and sufficient supply of relief items

01:14for those affected by the earthquake in the region.

01:17The shipment of 10,000 family food packs to the satellite warehouses of SWAD Aurora and Baler Aurora has already started.

01:25Meanwhile, 8,995 FFPs from the DSWD arrived in the province of Batanes.

01:33They were ridden by BRP Gabriela Silang of the PCG and C-130 aircraft of the Philippine Air Force.

01:39The mobile command center of the DSWD Field Office was also set up

01:43for the people of Cagayan Valley, Maragsaluna, Apayau, and SWAD Aurora.

01:49The Coast Guard of the District Northwestern Luzon assured that all personnel and equipment for responding

01:56are ready to help the local governments

01:59in the possible production of evacuation and rescue operations

02:03as part of the preparation for the possible effects of the severe tropical storm Nika.

02:08The Armed Forces of the Philippines or AFP is actively responding to the effects of the Marseille storm

02:13in the province of Cagayan, their Marine Battalion Landing Team 10.

02:18In close coordination with the local governments and agencies implementing the law,
