00:23part of the province of Cagayana,

00:25is the strong winds of Hurricane Mika.

00:30The strong winds of Hurricane Mika are already felt in Tuguegarao City, here in Cagayana.

00:35The strong winds are accompanied by the strong rain that is currently felt here in the province.

00:41For now, Tuguegarao City is under the signal number 3.

00:45But many residents are worried about the possible rise of the Cagayan River.

00:50Earlier, we went to a house that is located right next to the Cagayan River.

00:55A part of the house that is located right next to the Cagayan River fell due to Hurricane Christina.

01:00Because the Cagayan River is slowly flooding the land,

01:03it reached a depth of 15 meters.

01:06For now, they are worried that the level of the river might rise again

01:10and that the land will be affected by the Cagayan River.

01:14Meanwhile, the Mayor of Tuguegarao, Mayor Mila Tinque,

01:20has called for the residents of the nearby rivers to evacuate

01:22in case the water level in the Cagayan River rises again.

01:24The local government is now ready in case they need to conduct a rescue operation.

01:30Even though food packs are being given, they are already prepared.

01:34In the latest news of Tuguegarao LGU,

01:38there are currently 18 families in the evacuation center.

01:42Actually, I am now in an evacuation center here in Barangay Gosi Norte.

01:47The families of our evacuees are behind me.

01:51As for the flooding of the river, many residents are worried

01:55because the first flood hit the province of Isabela.

01:59The Cagayan River in Isabela is only shallow.

02:02In case the water level in Isabela falls again,

02:04the water level in the Cagayan River will surely rise again.
