00:00Hello, I'm Gretel Killeen and this is Big Brother.
00:27Tonight we launch into space and tour the gorgeous galaxy of family, friends, fans and
00:33freaks who orbit the blazing sun of the Big Brother house.
00:37So suit up, turn on the oxygen and prepare for liftoff.
00:42Tonight intruder Rachel back on the outside with hot news from the inside.
00:47Also tonight Blair's mum and his brother join me for a chat, Todd has a day at the races,
00:53we see the highlights of the week and catch up on the last 24 hours of teary turmoil in
00:58the house.
00:59Life is getting hot and heavy in there.
01:02The intrusion this week really did flip the housemates like so many cheaply made toupees
01:06in a gale.
01:08It also shook up the team from Triple M's Club Veg who have responded with another
01:12of their instant Big Brother classics.
01:14Now the new girls have a ride, libidos are in overdrive.
01:19It's Ben and Blair and a big high five but Pete's not happy.
01:24Johnny's gay and Pete is taking, could be time for making bacon.
01:29Pete's got Chrissy and the chickens a-shaking there.
01:31Not happy.
01:32Hi there Rachel, hi Anita, Blair and Ben are pleased to meet you.
01:36Chrissy better watch her beat as she's not happy.
01:40Girl be careful, be advised.
01:42Johnny's love seems very nice, behind the smile is a sharpened knife.
01:46You won't be happy, happy, happy.
01:49Watch out for Johnny's love.
01:52I love you too.
01:53Watch out for Johnny's love.
01:56Hey Lisa, love you.
01:57Watch out for Johnny's love.
01:59Hey Chrissy.
02:00Yeah?
02:01Love you.
02:03And you can download that song from the Big Brother website, email it to your friends
02:07or transcribe the lyrics and hand them in as an English assignment.
02:11Now last night our twin intruders Rachel and Anita were put on trial in an emotional mini
02:17eviction and with me now is the intruder evictee Rachel.
02:21Welcome to the show.
02:23Now you are one of a very rare species.
02:26Someone who's gone into the house, snuck in and snuck out.
02:30A chicken has done it.
02:31Yes.
02:32The dog did it.
02:33Yes.
02:34TV repairman and you.
02:35Yes.
02:36How do you feel to be out of the house?
02:38Very, very, very glad.
02:41Really?
02:42Was it horrible?
02:43It wasn't horrible at all.
02:45The people were great but I came in at a really different stage.
02:52These guys had been in for six weeks and I mean after spending three days with these
02:57people 24 hours a day I feel like I've known them my entire life and that's only three days
03:02and they've had six weeks up on me.
03:04And so they've kind of really formed a bond and they've also hit a real rut.
03:10Well, let's have a look at what you and Anita thought before you went into the house.
03:15At the moment I'm a little bit apprehensive because I'm coming in five weeks into the show
03:19and I'm hoping that people won't get poopy about me kind of intruding on their world.
03:23It can either be really, really bad or it can be really, really good but it doesn't
03:26matter what's happening.
03:27I'm going to enjoy it and make the most of everything about it.
03:32I'm a little bit wary of Johnny because I think that he's the only one that's playing the game
03:37but I don't think that that means he's a bad guy.
03:40I reckon I'll probably have heaps of fun with him.
03:42Strangely enough I think I'll get along really well with Johnny because he seems like a bit
03:48like around from my area, eastern suburbs, Sydney kind of thing.
03:53I think I'll really get along with probably Sarah Marie and Peter in a mucking around kind of situation.
04:00I think they'll be a lot of fun.
04:02Funnily enough I thought maybe I won't get along with Gemma but I'm getting more used to the fact
04:07that I probably will because I think I have a lot in common with her.
04:10Peter and Christina's relationship I think is kind of cool.
04:14If you find someone that you like in the house then why not?
04:18I don't understand why they would have to be worried about the cameras or anything.
04:22I think it's really cool.
04:23Well Peter and Christina I think it's very sweet but I feel very sorry for Christina
04:29because I think she seems like a really nice genuine girl and I think that he is going to crash her to pieces.
04:37I'm pretty sure that all of the contestants have already formed a really kind of tight-knit group
04:42and I know it's going to be really difficult for me to kind of expect to mosey on into that.
04:49Well if they want to bond with me they will and if they don't they don't but I think they'll want to.
04:53Hopefully the housemates are going to give me a fair go.
04:57I'm just going to go in there and be myself and hopefully that'll be enough for them.
05:02If I do get voted out of the house I'll take it as it comes
05:05but really I think if I would have started from the beginning I think it was in the bag.
05:10That is a pretty amazing comment to make sober don't you think?
05:14Yeah it's pretty confident I think.
05:17You don't want to comment on it do you?
05:19No.
05:20Alright alright let's get back to you.
05:22Now tell me had you been watching the show before you went in?
05:25No.
05:26I started watching it about a week before I went in when I got the phone call saying there might be a chance you're going up.
05:32And if I were going in there I would research it thoroughly.
05:35No.
05:36If you think about it and you plan it we were being thrown into a situation where people were basically knew everything about each other.
05:45And I think if you plan oh okay what am I going to say to Sarah Marie to really make her like me when I rock into the house.
05:52You're destined for disaster you're going to get in there and be all blah blah you know and not know what to say.
05:57So I thought the less I think about it if I just don't even think about it and they just kick me in the bum and chuck me in there I'll have to just flap my wings and somehow find my way.
06:08Do you feel that you failed in any way by being evicted quickly?
06:12No.
06:13Because I was surprisingly actually I completely forgot about the cameras.
06:19You can do it quickly can't you?
06:21You can it's insane because especially I think what I was saying to the guys as well was the fact that I was a little bit worried that I'd come in and they'd be all get out we don't want to know you.
06:31Because you'd invaded their territory.
06:33Yeah and that was scary but when we came in just that first initial moment when it was like I'd stepped onto the wrong side of the television screen that was a spin out.
06:43But then when I started hugging and kissing and realised they were real they were so nice and accepting and because none of them were conscious of the cameras that meant that it was contagious.
06:54Neither was I and it was just really easy to get into that and so from day one I really was no one but myself so if I failed by being myself then I guess I failed but I don't think that that.
07:07No not possible.
07:08No.
07:09Alright well let's have a look at who said that they wanted you to stay in the house.
07:15Mhm.
07:16And that was Ben.
07:17Yep.
07:18That's no surprise.
07:19Yep.
07:20Christina.
07:21Yep.
07:22Is that a surprise?
07:23No.
07:24I was actually from what I'd seen of Christina on the show I was not really that fussed about meeting her.
07:30I didn't think we'd get along very well but when I came in she is so nice and she's having a hard time.
07:38She really is.
07:39Peter's not the most sensitive guy and I think that that is I think that's hard for her and I think she's also starting to worry a lot about how she's being perceived on the television and yeah I think that that's really worrying her so she's very very stressed.
07:56And what about Johnny?
07:58Well Johnny did surprise me a little bit.
08:01I'm still very wary of Johnny.
08:03I knew that he would vote me out because he hugged me yesterday.
08:08Oh no you could have run away.
08:10You didn't actually have to have contact.
08:12I knew he hadn't come within a bull's roar of me all week and then yesterday he was very touchy-feely so I knew he was going to vote me out.
08:22People in the house have no idea.
08:24They think he is the absolute bee's knees.
08:27And what about Sarah Marie?
08:28Sarah Marie is in desperate need of external stimulation.
08:31She is in desperate need of it.
08:33She really wants to be up and at them all the time.
08:35She's always come on guys play cards with me or play this or play that and everybody's kind of in their books and she refused.
08:41The first thing she said to me when I walked in the house did you bring a book?
08:44I go yeah.
08:45She goes hate you already.
08:46She doesn't want anybody to bring books because everybody just sits there and reads the whole time.
08:51Now a lot of people thought that you were a sort of mail order bride for Ben and or Blair.
08:57What do you think about that?
08:59Well I'm not quite sure if it came out in the videos but I actually am very in love with my boyfriend.
09:05Ben and Blair were exactly my kind of people in a matey blokey way because we clicked like that.
09:15They're the least affected by it.
09:17They really are.
09:18You know the girls are really quite tense about the whole situation whereas Ben and Blair were kind of really open and were just mucking around from the word go.
09:28So I think that that's why I got along with those guys the best out of everybody and they didn't care.
09:32I could say whatever I wanted to them and they didn't care.
09:34So will you stay with us until after the break and then we will talk about Rachel's threesome with Ben and Blair.
09:42If Christina was to get kicked out I reckon Peter would go off with Johnny.
09:56They're kind of into each other a bit so yeah and Johnny's just a bitch anyway so.
10:01Okay I want Peter to go because I want to see what Christine's reaction is on TV because I don't think she'll be able to handle it.
10:11I think Christina should go first because Peter's said some pretty disgusting things and I think he'll upset a few people before it's all over so go Peter, get off Christina.
10:24No I think that Peter should go first and I think Christina would probably be heartbroken and her whole attitude will change and then they'll vote her off the next week.
10:34Oh it is a hot topic and we've just started a poll on bigbrother.com.au on who should go first.
10:43Although with the way things are going they might separate themselves before you even get a chance.
10:48Now Rachel's still with me on the couch and joining her now is our guest psychologist Simon Thatcher.
10:53Welcome Simon.
10:54Thanks Gretel.
10:55Now interestingly enough Rachel was just telling us during the break that if she hadn't been evicted you would have walked.
11:02So Simon is that a big decision not so much for Rachel but for people who have committed such a long period of their lives to Big Brother.
11:09Would walking from the house be an enormous decision?
11:12Absolutely Gretel it's a monumental decision particularly for the original members.
11:16I mean the rules have changed now.
11:18For the first time in Big Brother there's a gender imbalance going against the girls.
11:22There's more girls than guys and that's changed everything particularly for Gemma.
11:26I mean I think Gemma is very much the ice queen.
11:29She's always cool and calm and collected and she's calling the shots, she's making moves and she's holding court particularly in the living room whenever there's a conversation going on.
11:38Now with these two new girls coming in that's changing things particularly for her a little and because she's already been so calm and collected for so long.
11:45Well look at last night's episode.
11:47We've already seen a blow up between her and Blair.
11:49Now I really don't think the content of that blow up has any relevancy.
11:53It's just the fact that it's occurred and we're going to see more of it.
11:56Well they were criticizing Gemma for showering with clothes on and saying that she wasn't being the real her.
12:02She was hiding things.
12:04Now to anyone watching this it doesn't matter you can really have a shower doing it.
12:08But these boys were just saying we're grumpy with you.
12:10Exactly.
12:11We're over whatever it is you are.
12:13Gretel there's a famous saying that I love to recite time and time again.
12:16The brighter the picture the darker the negative.
12:19And that's particularly the case with Big Brother because for some of the members who thought they could go in just putting on a smile for the whole 12 weeks.
12:26Well they're starting to realize that that doesn't work.
12:29And the other members are picking up on that.
12:31Well did you feel that Rachel that no matter who you went in as the pressure applied by other people to be something else.
12:39Not necessarily to recreate yourself but just to inhibit you.
12:42Was that overwhelming?
12:44Mostly in the girls they're really feeling the pressure of it and they are really suppressing whatever they, I mean you know I was talking to Laysa and Laysa was relatively upset about things.
12:57And the things that the girls do when they cry they don't feel like whew thank goodness I got that off my chest.
13:03They go oh no that's what they're going to show on tonight's episode.
13:06That's you know all they're thinking.
13:08So they don't want to express their feelings they want to suppress it and I would have just gone mental.
13:13What are the psychological ramifications of bottling all of that up?
13:16Well there certainly are times and we've already seen it on a number of episodes now where they just can't bottle it up.
13:21At some stage it has to explode and again the more that they deny those sorts of feelings the greater intensity they're going to present themselves further on down the road.
13:29And we've seen that with Lisa and now with Gemma and we're going to see a lot more of it.
13:33One of the fabulous things to watch when you came into the house Rachel was the effect it had on the boys.
13:39What is that about Simon?
13:42Well Gretel you don't have to be Freud to work out what's going on there.
13:45I mean the three guys are out sunbathing for the first time ever I think in the history of your brother.
13:50Yeah first time ever in five or six weeks.
13:51And it just happens to coincide with the introduction of both Rachel and Anita.
13:55And what a greater test of manhood than to see or to show how far they can spit water.
14:00You know it's perfect.
14:01That was fun.
14:02Absolutely.
14:03I can't think of anything better to prove their manhood.
14:05But are men that simple?
14:07There's a woman must show her how far I can spit.
14:10Well it's interesting you know it says a lot for the reported evolution of the male species.
14:14I'm starting to have some doubts.
14:16Is that a little bit like look how big mine is?
14:18Well I think so just in a more appropriate form.
14:20So Rachel what are you back to now?
14:23Back to uni and life as normal with my boyfriend and my mates.
14:28And it's almost surreal really because it's been such a short amount of time
14:32and I feel like I have dreamt this entire experience.
14:36It's crazy.
14:37It's really crazy.
14:38At least you said the word dream and not nightmare.
14:40Yeah.
14:41And Simon what about you?
14:42Gretel I'm off to watch the ice queen that is Gemma.
14:45Because I think over the next three weeks that ice is going to start to melt.
14:48Particularly with the introduction of Anita.
14:50A bit of competition there.
14:51Absolutely.
14:52Well thank you for joining us.
14:53And Rachel I have a very special gift here.
14:55It is a Sony mini disc.
14:57It's a recordable Walkman especially for you.
15:00And it comes with 20 discs.
15:01Wonderful.
15:02So there you can record the rest of your life on that.
15:04Thank you for joining us Rachel and Simon.
15:07Pleasure.
15:08Well, Gordon has been dashing round Australia this week lapping up his new found freedom.
15:15That flash is a hard man to pin down.
15:18I caught him getting into character for a press conference in Dreamworld.
15:22And it wasn't long before I was swept along for the ride.
15:28Were you aware of just how many cameras there were and the sort of shots that we were getting?
15:32No, no idea.
15:33And I kind of assumed they'd have a pretty tight zoom but yeah, no idea at all.
15:37So tell me, did you learn anything about yourself from this experience?
15:40Yeah, I guess I did.
15:41It was hard to get people to talk about your weak sort of points because everyone just
15:45wanted to compliment you.
15:46But I knew I must have had a few because I got nominated three out of four times.
15:49So it was a good personal learning curve.
15:52But what did you learn was so irritating about you?
15:55I guess there's some sort of balance between confidence and arrogance and being opinionated
16:02and sort of having opinions.
16:04So we're going out on the Dreamworld ride and obviously that's a bit of a fear of yours
16:07and that's why you've got to put on your superhero make-up.
16:09Yeah, just to make sure I survive.
16:11Is that correct?
16:12Am I correct there?
16:13Oh yeah, I'm scared of heights for sure.
16:14I'll look after you, don't worry.
16:22Gordon, tell me, are there any secrets you want to share about people inside the house?
16:25No, but I mean there was a few surprises coming out that Johnny was a bit of a snake dog
16:30and Gemma thought I was in love with her.
16:32And you weren't in love with her?
16:34No, no.
16:35I think she's a beautiful, attractive girl but I think she probably misrepresented or
16:38you know, read my intentions and stuff like that.
16:40So I mean, just a bit awkward for her to be in the space and never tell me really.
16:44Have you changed your opinion about anyone in the house having seen footage?
16:47Yeah, I guess with Gemma I never thought there was something she could never say to me.
16:51I thought maybe she was a bit sort of stronger in that sort of way
16:54but maybe she's a little bit more timid than I thought.
16:56Did you realise you're such an overbearing, overpowering person?
16:59Well, yes, apparently I'm a bit of a stalker.
17:01Are you?
17:02I don't think so.
17:03I mean, Lisa, I guess, is the non-event of the Big Brother house
17:06so I hope she goes this week and I hope Sarah Marie stays because she is a legend.
17:10Are you going to look after me on this ride?
17:12Oh yeah, this ride is going to be insane.
17:14Do you think we're about to plummet?
17:17No!
17:18Yeah!
17:19Would you say this ride is the pinnacle of your life?
17:37Oh yeah, this is the most exciting, daring, dangerous thing I've ever done.
17:40Andy, have you got in touch with her?
17:42I have been talking to her on the phone but no, we probably won't catch up
17:45because my girlfriend's not very happy with, you know, a consistent relationship with Andy.
17:51What girlfriend would be?
17:52And as a team we've decided that it's probably not the most proactive decision
17:55to get in touch with Andy because she's a bit naughty.
17:57How very 2001.
17:59What about Blair?
18:01Blair, I mean, Blair, I saw Blair's website and he just looks like a porn star.
18:05He's just so gorgeous but that's what a professional photographer would do for you.
18:09But girls, he's just not that good looking in the flesh.
18:12That's not true.
18:13He is.
18:14But I believe Blair will win because he's 20 and he's got a great level of integrity
18:20and personality and he kind of deserves to win.
18:22Now, here is Gordon's inflatable willy, which is his eBay auction item this week.
18:28Bidding is currently running at over $1,000.
18:31It ends on Monday morning and the money will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation,
18:35a charity for kids with cancer.
18:37Make your bid at bigbrother.com.au.
18:40Still to come tonight, is the youngest housemate really a mummy's boy?
18:46Blair's mum will join us to tell the full story.
19:01It's a nominee log jam this week but the voting has split the four pretty cleanly.
19:06One person is way out in front.
19:08Who is it?
19:09Will it change?
19:10We'll find out tomorrow night.
19:12Now, if you want Christina to go home, dial 1902 555 012.
19:18Calls cost 55 cents including GST.
19:21Voting closes at 8pm tomorrow night.
19:23We'll tell you the other numbers later.
19:25Now, just like life, fart jokes and all-boy bands, the Big Brother house never lets up.
19:40We don't close it down to let the cleaners in.
19:42We don't turn off the cameras and have a little nap.
19:45All you have to do is turn your back and you've missed another day in the story.
19:49So, let's get up to speed on the last 24 hours.
19:52With Rachel gone, Anita is the newest housemate.
19:59She has immunity from next week's nominations, which guarantees her a minimum 16-day stay in the Big Brother house.
20:05Anita's first port of call is the diary room.
20:18I thought I was gone.
20:20I thought I was...
20:21I thought they would...
20:23I thought on the first day when I was not very happy being here and I talked about that with some people,
20:33I thought that they would react on that as in thinking that I want to go and they'd be doing me a favour by voting for me to leave.
20:43Who would have thought this time last week that all this would have happened in the next week?
20:55Oh my God.
20:56Pretty full on.
21:08Blair...
21:09I could definitely say he would rather Rachel stay than me because I guess they're the same age and they get along better than him and I do because he's still a bit of a kid.
21:25Um, Christina, I don't know, Christina's quite a tricky person to figure out.
21:33Ben just like, Ben's just a funny guy so he had more jokes I reckon with Rachel like the Simpson rubbish and all that kind of stuff.
21:42So that made him feel a bit more like home.
21:45So I believe that's why they voted for me to go rather than Rachel.
21:51Blair's fight with Gemma is still unresolved.
21:55I know.
21:56Have you spoke to Gemma today?
21:59No.
22:00I'm going to address everyone later.
22:03In what, what, saying what?
22:05Oh, just apologise, I think.
22:06Because I was a bit of a **** last night.
22:08I've got more reasons, so.
22:13I'll say amen.
22:15Huh?
22:16I'll say amen.
22:18Christina has also got something she wants to talk about with Peter.
22:26She's finally found her moment.
22:29Mmm.
22:30Cuddle in my bed tonight?
22:34No.
22:35No?
22:36No more beds.
22:37What?
22:38No more bed cuddles.
22:39Why not?
22:40Banned.
22:41Why?
22:42Because.
22:43Because why?
22:44Because I don't want to do that anymore.
22:45Why?
22:46Don't worry, I might be gone in two days.
22:47Mmm.
22:48Fine.
22:49Is it okay?
22:50Do I have a choice?
22:51No.
22:52Exactly.
22:53So why do you ask?
22:54I don't want you too pretty.
22:55Oh, just checking you don't hate me for it.
22:56Oh my God!
22:57Good.
22:58Okay.
22:59Oh!
23:00Thanks!
23:01I don't know.
23:02Oh my God!
23:03Oh my God!
23:04Oh my God!
23:05Oh my God!
23:06Oh my God!
23:07Oh my God!
23:08Oh my God!
23:10Oh my God!
23:11Oh my God!
23:12Oh my God!
23:13Oh my God!
23:14Oh my God!
23:15Oh my God!
23:16Oh my God!
23:17Almost two hours later and Peter is still not talking.
23:21So when does the vow of silence end?
23:23Oh my God!
23:24Tomorrow.
23:25Don't look at my boobs, guys!
23:27Why?
23:28Because I don't even show you off!
23:30Okay.
23:31Alright?
23:32So Pete's just told me, he hasn't told me, but he grunted that he's not talking until
23:38tomorrow.
23:39He's taking a vow of silence for some reason.
23:40Who's Pete taking the vow of silence?
23:42How long for?
23:43Till tomorrow.
23:44Oh really?
23:45Yeah.
23:46What a knob!
23:47Good job.
23:48I had to ask yes no questions to get out of him, because he just goes, hmm, hmm.
23:52Must have read in one of his meditation books.
23:54How silence makes one real lazy.
23:57He's changed that kid.
23:58He changes every day.
23:59It's been a long day for Anita.
24:12He's made it through her first nomination.
24:31Blair can't go to sleep.
24:33He's still upset about what he said to Gemma last night.
24:36I knew it was always going to happen.
24:38It was only a matter of time.
24:40I think that makes it come up too.
24:47I guess the target was the worst possible person for it to happen to.
24:55I think everyone should really respect everyone's opinions.
24:58But still, like you did, you voiced your opinion.
25:01Which we have the right to.
25:03That's right.
25:04But you said yourself you feel a bit bad because you went at it too hard.
25:07The harshness.
25:09And that's just what I am.
25:11That's how I do it at home.
25:13In my life I know that I don't get along with people.
25:17Full stop.
25:18I don't even get along with my friends.
25:20You're not a people person.
25:21I am a people person.
25:22But I prefer to be Bob.
25:23By yourself.
25:24Yeah.
25:25But probably couldn't have it happened at a worse possible time for me as well.
25:30But you never know.
25:32You never know.
25:33Did I hear someone say once that the house is boring?
25:40After the break we flood around the races with Todd.
25:43But before we go let's visit the replica of the Big Brother diary chair here at our Dreamworld studios.
25:52I would like to nominate Lisa for two points because she's so boring.
25:58And for one point I'd like to go with Gemma because she puts on too much makeup.
26:05I'd like to nominate Johnny for two points.
26:07He seems really good fun but he's also really manipulative I think.
26:11And one point for Gemma.
26:13Same reason as the guy before me she puts on too much makeup.
26:16I nominate Johnny for two points because he must have had a big bag of plastic knives when he came in.
26:21Okay we'd like to nominate Lisa for two points because she's boring.
26:26And Christina for one.
26:29She's a holdout.
26:30She's got to give it up for Pete.
26:32What's wrong with Pete?
26:35Lisa is up for eviction for the second week running.
26:38Will she be doing a lap of honour tomorrow night?
26:40Vote by phoning 1902 555 013.
26:45One vote for, sorry, Blair.
26:51Just because everyone else is not voting for him.
26:53I'd like to nominate Blair for two points because I think he's a bit of a mummy's boy.
26:58I'd like to nominate the guy that was in the chair before me because he's obviously got the wrong impression of Blair.
27:06And Blair's mum Kathy and Blair's brother Gavin join me now.
27:10Thank you for coming here.
27:12It's nice to sit on the couch.
27:14Oh is it?
27:15It's so exciting.
27:16You were doing an impression of Blair before.
27:18Yes.
27:19What does he do on a couch?
27:20Oh, it's not very ladylike.
27:22It's like this.
27:23So is the Blair we're seeing in the house the Blair that you two know?
27:26Oh yes.
27:27He's not holding anything back?
27:29No, no I don't think so.
27:31No, that's Blair.
27:33And what we want to know is what is it like to be the family of someone inside the Big Brother house?
27:38How has it intruded upon your lives?
27:41The question that gets asked the most is, oh and have you spoken to him?
27:47Really?
27:48Really.
27:49Everybody asks me.
27:50I think well, how could that be?
27:52You obviously don't understand the concept of the whole show.
27:56And the other one is, how did he get in there?
27:59What process did he go through to get in there?
28:02I understand you're a very close family, four boys.
28:04That's right.
28:05Was it a family decision as to whether Blair should go into the house or not?
28:09It was a Blair decision, but it was run by the family that this is what I want to do.
28:16And you've already heard his father's comment.
28:20That's fine Blair, but just don't have sex on television.
28:23Now, did you agree with this?
28:26That's a pretty tall order for a 19, 20 year old.
28:30Well, I don't think that parents are totally accountable for their children's behaviour.
28:35They can't be.
28:36They can't be held accountable, so it's not my, it's Blair's life and it's Blair's business.
28:42Well, he's very young, isn't he?
28:43Yes.
28:44And he's obviously come from the bosom of the family, the youngest of four boys.
28:48Can you look at the show and see, oh look, he's making a family inside the house?
28:52Yes.
28:53Yes, most definitely.
28:54And what family is that?
28:55Well, your mum.
28:56I'm the mum.
28:57Oh, your mum.
28:58Yes, definitely.
28:59Means I've got three children.
29:00The other night with Ben and Blair on the couch and they're saying, wish Gretel had come
29:04in and have a drink with us.
29:05I didn't think that was actually in a motherly capacity.
29:07No, I kind of would have wanted to have that too myself.
29:10But good interpretation.
29:13Big brother is dad.
29:16His dad.
29:17Big brother's dad.
29:18And what about brothers and sisters?
29:20And Ben is definitely his brother, Ryan.
29:22Tell me, you have a song that you've written.
29:25You play in a band.
29:26Yes.
29:27And what's the name of the band?
29:28Fifth Avenue is the name of the band and we're in the process of recording an album
29:35and we were in the studio when all this began and thought we'd write and record a song
29:40in support of Blair and what he's doing on the show and all that kind of thing.
29:43And since we've finished it and we're talking to a couple of record companies at the moment
29:47and all that kind of thing.
29:48Fantastic.
29:49And you brought your guitar especially to give us a performance.
29:52Yes.
29:53Are you ready now?
29:54Yes, I'm ready.
29:55Okay.
29:56Just a live preview, eh?
29:58Oh, it's like Nirvana uncut or whatever.
30:00Unplugged.
30:01Shows how funky I am.
30:02Okay, it's called Let Me Out.
30:04Oh, good.
30:05Oh, good.
30:06Oh, good.
30:07Oh, good.
30:08Oh, good.
30:09Oh, good.
30:10No Goal.
30:11Oh, good.
30:12Oh, good.
30:13Oh, good.
30:14Oh, good.
30:15I'm gonna fight.
30:16It's a very short song.
30:46It's fantastic.
30:47I was asked to do a preview of it.
30:49It's a sneak preview.
30:50It's fantastic.
30:51I was sitting thinking, go on and on and on.
30:53Okay, the second verse goes like...
30:55That is beautiful.
30:56That's got hit written all over it.
30:57You think so?
30:58Yes, I do.
30:59Oh, goody.
31:00Thank you very much for joining us, Gavin, Kathy.
31:02Thank you very much.
31:05Now, Todd has been one of our most popular evictees.
31:07Since leaving the house two weeks ago, his diary has been loaded with hot media dates.
31:13Parties, race days, TV shows, photo shoots, Todd spreads the love wherever he goes.
31:20Todd took to modelling like a fish to water as he steamed up cameras as part of his makeover
31:35with New Weekly.
31:37A man in demand, he also did the rounds at Good Morning Australia.
31:48And he was off and racing at Brisbane's biggest race day.
31:56Okay, here I am at Doombin Racers in Brisbane, and life is completely different now that
32:01I'm out of the house.
32:02Now that I'm a bit of a celeb, it's amazing who you get to chat with.
32:08You've worked with John Cleese, you've been on The Dish, The Big PM.
32:12What's something, what's some tips you can give me?
32:14Well, I mean, mate, look, just watching the thing, I would never have shaved the dreddies off,
32:19you see?
32:20I would never have done that.
32:21You lost a whole number of your supporters with that.
32:23Well, I'd like to see Gemma win simply because I'd like to see a woman win,
32:26and I think she seems lovely and doesn't seem manipulative or anything,
32:29so my vote's for Gemma.
32:31I watched the show as a professional actor, and I was working out who was acting
32:35and who was learning how to act in the context.
32:38Now, mate, you didn't learn how to act, you were just honestly yourself.
32:41Would you go in at yourself if there were a celebrity event of this nature?
32:44Would you jump in the show?
32:46Absolutely no way.
32:48I wouldn't last a day.
32:49I'd miss my family, I'd miss my friends, I wouldn't cope at all.
32:52Over to you to say farewell.
32:54So there you go, Billy Brown giving us all the goss on Big Brother,
32:57and a few acting tips as well.
32:59Now we can't even try!
33:02At the end of the day, I even managed to catch up with the big wig of Queensland,
33:06and it turns out he's a bit of a fan too.
33:08You're intelligent, you're hard-working, you're committed, and you've got a big future.
33:13Channel 10, you've got to give him a job, guys, okay?
33:15Listen to this guy.
33:16Absolutely.
33:17In fact, I should think he heads the news.
33:19If we get a better coverage if he headed the news, you've got it?
33:22Newsreader, we want to make him premiere.
33:28Blair had his first taste of pre-eviction tension this week.
33:32To vote him out, phone 1902 555 011.
33:37Still to come, highlights of the week in the house.
33:41We're at the pointy end of week six in the house.
33:53And if this week got any sharper, we'd have to put a protective cork on Sunday morning.
33:57Let's take a look and grab your tissues, kids,
34:00because there's tears aplenty.
34:05Gordon.
34:06Hi!

34:14See you in the other side, bro, mate.
34:15It's been awesome.
34:16So far, great fun.
34:17It's good for you to come out.
34:18Yeah.
34:19I appreciate it.
34:20Alrighty.
34:21Yay!
34:22See it, baby!
34:23See it, baby!
34:24See it, baby!
34:25See it, baby!
34:26See it, baby!
34:27See it, baby!
34:28I feel lost without Gordon already.
34:30I'm sorry to see him go.
34:31I'm sorry to see anyone go.
34:32This week's nominations were so close, there are four up for eviction.
34:39Every week, this process gets harder and harder.
34:42Sarah Marie.
34:43Sarah Marie.
34:44Sarah Marie.
34:45Sarah Marie's bugging me.
34:46Lisa.
34:47Lisa.
34:48She talks down to me.
34:49Blair.
34:50Blair.
34:51Christina.
34:52Christina just because I don't really seem to click with her.
34:57This week, there are four.
34:59Sarah Marie.
35:00Okay.
35:01Christina.
35:02Yay!
35:03Blair.
35:04And Lisa.
35:05Again.
35:06I just wish it wasn't so boring.
35:09What was it?
35:10I wish I wasn't.
35:12I'd have to...
35:13At about nine o'clock, two new housemates will arrive.
35:20more tension was added to the nomination night on Friday you as a group or vote
35:28to evict one of them again the other will remain in the house for as long as
35:33they survived the standard nomination and eviction procedure if they're not
35:40happy in the environment can we get their owner in to come on the show it's
35:45like a new football player coming into a team to me you never accept that person
35:48until they prove themselves like you got gold exactly just treat them as you would
35:52expect to be treated the housemates gathered to welcome the intruders meet
36:05rachel and anita
36:09the next day we saw the boys giving their best performance in
36:25wait Sarah Marie convinced Christina to break up with Peter if he says why I
36:44said it's not you it's not me I just need my space you know the part that gets to
36:48me the most is this whole bed swapping thing exactly I hate it I don't want
36:53him in my bed exactly I don't want him trying to force me to do things I don't
36:57want to do exactly and I know that's horrible but it's really giving me and
37:02well they are you that they are your reasons babe but he gets so angry we have to have a talk later
37:12one thing tell you one thing to never ever do to a boy say we have to have a talk later you're doing
37:25it's quite daunting to think that people are watching you when you're sleeping the strain of
37:44being an intruder took its toll on anita and it was just a bit overwhelming that
37:49everyone is kind of interrogating you and and it's all very you know because they
37:55haven't had anyone else in you know to be they've only had each other to talk to
38:00so it was just a bit energy draining last night more than anything
38:05Rachel's experience however was very different
38:09I've passed the 24 hour mark now and and it's been an absolute ball from from start to finish and
38:16and the people out there are absolutely hilarious a group discussion turned on Gemma

38:56although Gemma stood her ground with the housemates she later broke down in the bathroom
39:04I know how I'm going to feel about with myself when I get out of here and that's it whatever
39:10anyone else wants to judge me on they certainly can't that's one thing that I've that I've kept
