00:11I will convey to member states the importance of our continued support, both on the diplomatic

00:19field with the Foreign Affairs Council and on the defence and security of the Council

00:25that joins the defence ministers of the European Union member states. We will make the case

00:34for boosting political and especially military support to Ukraine, especially now at this

00:43critical hour.

00:46Borrell also urged faster deliveries and fewer self-imposed red lines in getting Western

00:52weapons to Ukraine.

00:54His trip, which will be his last in his capacity as High Representative, follows the election

00:59of Donald Trump as President of the United States, a development that has sparked concerns

01:05over potential US cuts to financial and military aid for Ukraine.
