Are people being priced out of concerts?

With ticket prices soaring over the last few years, we ask the people of Cardiff whether they think people are being unfairly priced out of going to gigs.

00:00Definitely it's not fair, if you're talking about someone who's earning on a minimum basis,

00:06it's not fair for them to, like, to spend that much money.

00:12But we cannot do anything about that.

00:14I've only ever been to one concert and I thought that was fairly priced,

00:17considering I got the VIP one as well.

00:19It was for Joji. I paid around £90 in London.

00:24I found that fairly priced, to be honest.

00:27I went to see Alice Cooper two weeks ago in London and I paid £70 a ticket.

00:31To me, that was worth every penny of it.

00:33So if you want to go and see the people you want to pay for the concert,

00:37I would pay for it, no problem.

00:39But they are, I mean, everything.

00:40If you go to a concert, if you go to the cinema,

00:42you're talking about 40, 50 quid for your grandkids, you know what I mean?

00:45But in terms of pricing, yeah, it's way too much.

00:50It was about a month or two ago.

00:52People were dying to go to her,

00:54paid for obviously black tickets, over-priced, £500, £1,000.

00:58It was just too much.
