Walter is a massive fan of Dorothy and her friends. He's been building his Wizard of Oz collection since the age of three, which was when his love for this American classic all began.

00:00Being a collector, you become a person that takes care of parts of history that without

00:10you would have been forgotten.

00:12That's a big responsibility.

00:16I have around 9,000 to 10,000 items, probably a little bit more or less somewhere in there.

00:30Hi, I'm Walter, and I'm a Wizard of Oz fan and collector and all-out historian of the

00:39American classic tale about Dorothy and her friends.

00:45At the age of three, I grew up in the era of the 50th anniversary, so a lot of people

00:51who grew up in the late 80s will remember that the 50th anniversary had rolled around,

00:57and so you couldn't go into a toy store without seeing Dorothy and her friends.

01:05My favorite character in The Wizard of Oz would have to be Dorothy, obviously.

01:09It is her dream.

01:10It is her journey that we are going on.

01:14The people she meets along the way are very familiar.

01:25My future plans with my collection is that someday I want to open a museum.

01:30I know that America's fairy tale needs to be seen.
