00:00Mr Speaker, can I begin by congratulating President-elect Trump on his historic election

00:06victory. As the closest of allies, the UK and US will continue to work together to protect

00:13our shared values of freedom and democracy. Having had dinner with President-elect Trump

00:20just a few weeks ago, I look forward to working with him in the years to come.

00:24As Leader of His Majesty's Opposition, I will be taking a different approach to the

00:28last Opposition by being a constructive Opposition. And so I would like to start by congratulating

00:34President-elect Trump on his impressive victory this morning.

00:38The Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary met him in September. Did the Foreign Secretary

00:42take that opportunity to apologise for making derogatory and scatological references, including

00:48and I quote, Trump is not only a woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathising sociopath, he is also

00:54a profound threat to the international order. And if he did not apologise, will the Prime

00:58Minister do so now on his behalf?
