London Democrats react to US election results as Trump takes lead

00:00Frankly, I can't stand Trump as a person.

00:02I voted for Kamala because I think it's a huge privilege as an American to vote,

00:07especially as a woman.

00:08And I believe that Kamala will be the lesser of two evils

00:12that will protect our democracy as well as minorities' rights.

00:16How would you feel if Trump does win tomorrow?

00:19It is what it is.

00:20Wouldn't completely surprise me, unfortunately,

00:22but not confident about what he'd do for the world.

00:27But nonetheless, I still think it'll work for America.

00:31I wouldn't feel particularly lucky to live on this side of the fence.

00:36I try to hold a lot of empathy for Trump supporters.

00:38And I just think that he's very good at invoking the emotions that he does,

00:46which I think is the only reason that he has this lead.

00:50Because if you really looked at the facts, he hasn't said much.
