00:00We are running the national election command post in the SIOC, Strategic Information Operations
00:22Center, where we will be operating command posts for the next week.
00:26So information arrives here to our command post from either our tip line, it can come
00:31in through NTOC, or it can come in through our field offices, either directly to our
00:36field offices or through state or local law enforcement or election partners in the states.
00:44We assess the information, we triage it, we run it through our indices, we share it with
00:50our partner agencies, and we talk to DOJ to assess that information and see if there
00:56is a violation of federal law.
00:59If there is, we action it.
01:01If there is or isn't a violation of federal law, we still share that with our field offices.
01:08So we're going to send that back out to the 55 field offices, wherever that information
01:12originated from, share it with them, and we'll ask them to share it with their state or local
01:17partners.
01:19We feel like we're well-positioned to handle and triage information over the last few years.
01:27And we're going to go through a process.
01:28We're going to take the information that comes in, we're going to take it through our process,
01:32and we're going to share that information.
01:35And so we've grown our response, and we have best practices.
01:42So after every election, we look at it, we do an after-action assessment to see what
01:46we did well, what we didn't do well, and then we make a recommendation in writing for
01:52the next command post in two years, for the next federal election in place.
01:57We've identified the right people at the different agencies.
02:00We've developed those partnerships.
02:02Command post posture has changed from one election to the other.
02:05And that's what we're doing in the National Election Command Post here at Headquarters.
