00:04as poultry products from Michigan and the U.S.

00:07The temporary import ban was lifted following a report from the U.S. Veterinary Authorities

00:12to the World Organization for Animal Health indicating the cases of highly pathogenic

00:17avian influenza in Michigan has been resolved.

00:21The D.A. chief stated the latest directive will take effect immediately, but emphasized

00:25all import transactions must comply with the D.A.'s rules and regulations regarding

00:30agricultural food imports.

00:32The U.S. is a vital supplier of imported meats to the Philippines, primarily beef and chicken.
