00:59Here is our latest satellite image.
01:03This is Typhoon Marseille.
01:05This is a part of the island of Isabela.
01:10Earlier at 4 p.m., it was 480 kilometers away from the island of Isabela.
01:17The strong wind was blowing at 130 kilometers near the center
01:21and the waves were up to 160 kilometers per hour.
01:25It was moving in the direction of Hilagang, Kanluran at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour.
01:31For the time being, we are hoping that Typhoon Marseille will bring it to Mekagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region.
01:39Typhoon Marseille will bring heavy rain and strong winds.
01:46In Mindanao, we are also hoping that it will bring heavy rain, just like Typhoon Marseille.
01:52In Metro Manila and other parts of our country,
01:55we are hoping for partly cloudy to cloudy skies and chances of localized thunderstorms.
02:01This is the track we are hoping for, or the movement of Typhoon Marseille.
02:07Until tomorrow, it is possible for Typhoon Marseille to move in the direction of northwest
02:12before it moves in the direction of Kanluran in the east of the extreme northern Luzon.
02:21It is possible for Typhoon Marseille to landfall or approach the Babuyan Islands
02:25and the northern portion of the mainland of Cagayan Thursday afternoon or evening.
02:31Typhoon Marseille's highest intensity is before it lands over the Babuyan Islands or Cagayan.
02:37It is important to take note that it will be slow before it approaches our country.
02:44Typhoon Marseille's peak intensity is slow.
02:48So, we should be twice as careful as our fellow countrymen,
02:51especially since it is possible for strong winds and heavy rains.
02:57It is possible for Typhoon Marseille to move out of our Philippine Area of Responsibility
03:02Friday afternoon or evening, and it is expected that Typhoon Marseille will continue to move out.
03:09Because of Typhoon Marseille's high intensity,
03:12the signal number one in Batanes, Cagayan, along with the Babuyan Islands,
03:16Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayau, Abra, Calinga, Mountain Province,
03:24northern portion of Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and northern portion of Aurora.
03:32With strong winds today, we expect Ilocos Sur, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.
03:39Tomorrow, we expect Ilocos Region, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes.
03:46With strong winds, we expect today afternoon to tomorrow afternoon,
03:52moderate to heavy rains, so 50-100 mm of rain in Cagayan,
03:57and by tomorrow afternoon until Thursday afternoon, moderate to heavy in Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayau.
04:04Thursday afternoon until Friday afternoon, intense to torrential rain in Cagayan,
04:09heavy to intense in Apayau, Ilocos Norte, Batanes,
04:13and moderate to heavy rains in Isabela, Abra, Ilocos Sur, Calinga, and Mountain Province.
04:21We also have a warning in Batanes, Cagayan, Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur,
04:29and some parts of Aurora which are Disalag, Kasiguran, and Dilangunan.
04:34So if possible, let's not go to those areas because it will be dangerous to the ocean.
