00:53The Department of Education will deploy a dynamic learning program this month.
00:57Under the direction of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,
01:01it aims to continue education in schools affected by the next typhoon
01:06and to make learning practices resilient and adaptable in the face of calamities or emergencies.
01:12The learning materials provided are simple, targeted, and adaptable
01:18focused on improving the writing, problem-solving, and critical thinking of students.
01:23Each learner has a portfolio.
01:25And rather than focusing on the lectures of the teachers,
01:30the students have time to learn and absorb what is being taught to them.
01:38Because sometimes, the teacher asks,
01:41did everyone understand?
01:43Some understood, but others did not speak.
01:47According to Secretary Angara,
01:49the agency will ask for additional funds for the construction of the damaged facilities

02:26because what we have seen is really intense.
02:30Next year, PISA will do the same in the Philippines.
02:33At the same time, DepEd will reduce the number of students in senior high schools
02:40to focus on core subjects and on-the-job training
02:44so that the chances of finding a job in the future will increase even more.
