00:24and tourism can be spread like having a job opportunity.

00:29That is the goal of the Philippine Experience Program of the Department of Tourism

00:33in its travel around the country,

00:35just like its visit to Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte.

00:38Its tourism continues to be strengthened,

00:41such as the construction of a viewing deck in Barangay Puting Bato.

00:44You can see here the beautiful view that is really instagrammable,

00:48where the remote mountains serve as a background.

00:51The cool climate in Cabadbaran adds attraction.

00:55We are committed to protecting and enhancing the surrounding ecosystem,

01:01ensuring the biodiversity that thrives here will continue to flourish for years to come.

01:09This project is about empowering our community,

01:13particularly the indigenous people in the area,

01:17to become sustainable and self-reliant.

01:21At the same time, DOT is working with national tourism organizations and regional stakeholders

01:26to hold business-to-business meetings.

01:29We recognize that tourism development is one that should be equalized to all regions.

01:37We firmly believe that tourism has the opportunity and the capacity

01:43to provide economic advancement to our fellow countrymen.

01:48The local government is working hard to make these opportunities available to the community.

01:53Kagura is hoping to raise funds for tourism infrastructure

01:57to make the area accessible to tourists.

02:00This is also in line with the first directive of the President

02:03that the LGUs should be supported by the national government

02:06when it comes to tourism development.
