00:50receiving unexpected aid from a few Gotei 13 alumni.
01:01Experimented on by Aizen and exiled by Soul Society, Shinji and his fellow holofied warriors
01:07had every excuse to not get involved, but still chose to throw down in order to help
01:13out Ichigo.
01:14The chance to also get revenge against Aizen probably didn't hurt either.
01:29Number 9.
01:30Ichigo's First Bankai
01:45The culmination of the exquisite Soul Society arc all came down to the rematch between Ichigo
01:51and Byakuya, and while the captain had easily bested the strawberry in previous duels, this
01:57time was a little bit different.
01:59Namely, Ichigo finally having completed his training and gaining access to his own Bankai.
02:17Despite its smaller stature, Tensei Zanketsu is anything but puny, allowing Ichigo to slice
02:24through the captain's billions of bladed petals before getting in some hits of his
02:28own.
02:32Few payoffs in bleach felt more well-earned than this moment here.
02:37Number 8.
02:38Renji's New Bankai
02:40Poor Renji had become something of a punching bag throughout the series.
02:52He got shined by practically every other character, despite unlocking Bankai leagues ahead of
02:58them.
02:59Mercifully, he finally got his time to shine after getting some training in with Squad
03:03Zero.
03:15Returning to Soul Society to take the fight to the Quincy, his new version of Zabimaru
03:20proved to be so devastatingly powerful, it made short work of Masked Masculine, aka the
03:26insidious Luchador, who would wipe several Captain Class Shinigami with ease.
03:32Put some respect on Renji's name.
03:40Number 7.
03:41Emissary of Hell
03:43There's flexing, and then there's getting hell to offer its power to you.
03:52Likely the greatest stunt he's pulled across Bleach's movie catalogue, Ichigo trades
03:57Hollow for Hellfire as he enters the underworld to take down the vicious Kokuto before he
04:03can escape.
04:15Seems that the realm of the damned is A-OK with that notion, since it grants Ichigo an
04:21epic new look, and a serious power boost to ensure that their captive is put back in his
04:26prison.
04:28The form may be fleeting, but it's certainly memorable.
04:47Number 6.
04:48Yoruichi Runs Rampant
04:50The Goddess of Flash is many things.
04:53A former Gotei 13 captain, one of Bleach's predominant waifus, the source of Ichigo's
04:59edgy awakening, but above all else, she is fast, fast, fast.
05:05Something she demonstrates to her student with painful precision.
05:20Despite Soifan having numerous members of her squad on standby, who are essentially
05:24high-speed ninja, they don't get a chance to do anything, since Yoruichi wipes them
05:30all out before they can move a muscle.
05:38There is no topping this kitty cat.
05:50Number 5.
05:51It Was Me, Aizen
05:55Even if his ability to pre-plan his villainous antics started to border on the ridiculous
06:01towards the series' end, the initial reveal of Aizen as the main villain was a sublime
06:06spectacle to behold.
06:14In the space of a single afternoon, he revealed that he had faked his own death, stabbed his
06:19lieutenant, proceeded to one-shot every shinigami who got in his way, declared himself God,
06:25and most dastardly of all, unleashed the power of the mullet.
06:29We know he's a jerk and all, but this display of dominance is almost admirable.
06:42Number 4.
06:43Kenpachi Cuts A Meteor
06:45There is no greater proof that Kenpachi Zaraki is a force unto himself than his battle against
06:51Remy.
07:04Even against a Quincy whose power lets him manifest anything he imagines, Kenpachi just
07:09cuts through it all regardless.
07:11Bullets, missiles, the vacuum of space, everything falls before his sword.
07:18Though by far his most impressive feat is when he took on a meteor head-first and sliced
07:23through it like butter.
07:33Kenpachi is just him.
07:43Number 3.
07:44Hollow Ichigo Comes Out To Play
07:47While Ichigo's Bankai put up a fine fight against Byakuya for the majority of their
07:51battle, he did find himself struggling at the final hurdle.
07:56Overwhelmed with Byakuya's Bankai and mastery of Kido, Ichigo is once again brought to his
08:01limits until his hollow passenger decides to take over.
08:10Stronger, faster and way more psychotic, Ichigo shows no mercy as he eviscerates Rukia's
08:19brother in an instant.
08:30Had it not been for Ichigo pulling back control at the last second, the Gotei 13 would be
08:35short another captain.
08:47Number 2.
08:48The True Kenpachi There can only be one.
08:53In order to turn the tide with the invading Quincy, the two strongest captains battle
08:57it out, with the sole purpose of unlocking Kenpachi's true potential along the way.
09:08The fight itself is a bloody glorious one, with the usually sweet-natured Unohana revealed
09:16to be the original Kenpachi, showcasing her immense skill for combat as she kills and
09:22subsequently revives her successor until he finally bests her.
09:28It's a dance of destruction, with every frame overflowing with hype.
09:55The End of Ukiura
10:05Talk about a comeback.
10:06In the face of Ukiura's second transformation, Ichigo is beaten, bested and left with a crater-sized
10:13hole in his chest.
10:15You'd think that would spell the end for the strawberry, and you'd be right.
10:19If not for the cries of a lovely lady bringing him back from the brink.
10:24Slowly giving in to his hollow side, Ichigo proceeds to decimate Ukiura like he's nothing.
10:45It's a brutal end to the beloved villain, as we get to see how powerful Ichigo's darker
10:51half truly is when he's let off the leash.
