00:51because I would bet as a lifelong 60 year old Detroit Lions fan that most of us would would

01:00balk at even a straight up Jameer Gibbs for Myles Garrett trade let alone three additional picks

01:07this has turned into an offensive league and over the last five to ten years and Jameer Gibbs is one

01:14of the most dynamic offensive players in the league and he's very young as a fan I would not

01:22trade Jameer Gibbs straight up for Myles Garrett I wouldn't trade if he took Garrett out of it or

01:26took Gibbs out of it I wouldn't trade three firsts for Garrett especially when there are other

01:33difference makers out there but to to contemplate a trade which includes Jameer Gibbs I think is

01:39completely off the table can I ask you a question John were you ever in the make them an offer they

01:43can't refuse camp no I mean it's still in there yeah yeah yeah it's it sounds bold when you say it

01:51right it sounds make a statement like yeah yeah and you know there's that guys we've never been

01:57to a super and this is what I talked about yesterday you don't want your GM acting with

02:02the desperation of 60 years you want them acting with the motivation of year four because it's

02:08desperation of 60 years you start doing really desperate things and this feels like an example

02:22know your listeners what would be interesting is to say okay if a if if a trade included Jameer

02:29Gibbs how far would you go in addition to that in terms of picks and I don't think you'd even get to

02:35Jameer in a single first round pick you might get to Jameer and a second or a third or something

02:42but even that I think would be outrageous because again this is an offensive league and he is one of

02:47the most dynamic players in the league and I just can't imagine giving him up for just about anybody

02:53I hear you and it's an offensive league like you said I've changed my mind on that four or five

02:58years ago and have stuck with it and yeah I mean it's now if anybody would say yeah like we got a

03:06feedback here let me uh let me read it I would 100 make this trade Garrett is one of the five

03:13best players in the league and is a necessity Gibbs is okay and a luxury but you don't need

03:19two running backs I think the uh the Tana bomb proposal is is too much and I would also disagree

03:30with with John the caller if if they wanted just Jameer Gibbs straight up for Miles Garrett I would

03:35trade that straight up 10 not 10 times out of 10 I love Jameer he's making me think though I I would

03:42have thought the same thing but he is making me think like it is an offensive league you don't

03:47want to give away from the core you're one injury away from having you know a backfield of Reynolds

03:54and Vaki I yeah well I think you're thinking short term for this year as opposed to longer term

04:01um with what it looks like years down the road and can because if you had

04:07look I don't know if he's even worth mentioning because he just he's it was just a company set

04:11but I'm sufficed to say I would do it if it was straight up one for one but that's not at all

04:44would you make that trade if you could be guaranteed to get there to that game no yep I

04:51would not and here's why I think the team last year was good enough to get there and some extreme

04:59and unlikely circumstance contributed to them not getting there and I think this year's team

05:04is better so I don't want to make that trade when I already think they're good enough just to get

05:09there what what if you could sweeten it up a little bit more and guarantee Hutch would be

05:15there too what do you mean guarantee that Hutchinson would be healthy no he'd be back

05:21with you so so you're making that trade almost putting yourself in the best possible situation

05:27that you're probably going to win that game so you make the trade and you think and you think

05:32that the timeline medically has Hutch playing in the Super Bowl I still probably wouldn't do it

05:37because I think as much as the Hutch thing playing in the Super Bowl if which is a great

05:42problem to have if we are worried about who is who is healthy for the Super Bowl I don't know

05:47that you get peak Hutch you get just off injury Hutch I don't know if we want to do the hypothetical

05:51the hypothetical thing I mean that gets that gets a little crazy down the road you know let's just

05:57kind of stay within the restraints of what we're working with here yeah which is a Tana bomb
