Entire street of 24 homes - including shop and post office - on sale for £1.6M

Residents fear they will be forced to leave their homes after a charity put an entire street of 24 homes up for sale - for £1.6M.

Dock Road in Sharpness in Gloucestershire is to be auctioned next week by the Canal and River Trust.

The single lot - which is being marketed by auction house Allsop - has been described as a ‘rare unbroken street'.

It comprises of twelve terrace houses, eight semi-detached and two detached properties.
