Man's attempt to nap goes wrong when portable fan malfunctions and blades fly off

If playing with fire were a sport, Melquiades would be putting up prime Michael Jordan numbers.

This comical clip shows him trying to take a nap, using a portable fan to beat the heat.

However, with no guard on the fan, Melquiades quickly falls victim to Murphy's Law as the rapidly spinning blades come off and nearly injure him.

"All I did was ask Alexa to turn on the fan," he told WooGlobe.
